I have been using picnik for a long time, and quite often the past week. But beginning about 3 days ago I have been having loading problems. A lot of time I can't get to the welcome page, because the page just won't load. If I get to that page I can upload a picture but it tells me it didn't upload, and I try agian but it never works. So I say I will try later and I go to the create tab and the create tab never loads just gears and a bar that never loads. I have tried everything, but nothing works. Please help, I think I have a picnik obsession and I haven't fed it in 4 days!

Yes, I agree... especially with the Ortonish tool.  I'd love to paint that on on/off areas.

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in, Im sorry to hear about the printing troubles. Each photo has what is called an aspect ratio. If you want to be able to print your photo at 4x6 or 8x12 you first must crop the photo to this ratio before sending it to print. If you change the pixel dimensions without cropping, this will distort your image.

If your images are at the 5x7 ratio to start, they will have to be cropped to fit the 4x6 ratio. If you are able to crop the photos yourself, this will allow you more control over where and how your photo is cropped.

Once you have a crop you like go ahead and save the photo and it should be ready for print Smiley

I hope this helps!

Cheers,

Hi FrankzAnne,

Yes you can do that! Just load your image into the Create tab and then click on the effects section, find the pixelate option and click there, then click on the paint brush within the option, check the "reverse effect" option and then begin to paint in the pixels where you wish!

I hope this helps!
