I am having a  hard time figuring out the correct dimentions for printing.I love PICNIK'S editing and I am hoping to take pictures and edit for other but my issue is after I save them onto a cd an take the cd to where I get my prints at alot are cutoff? Sometimes it's the sayings or names on the pictures other times its more dramatick like heads so how do I fix this?

I notice when I start to edit the PICNIK resizer pops up and asks to resize I click yes and it picks the siz usually 1800x or 2000x ??So any tips would be greatful Thanks you,PICNIK ADDICT,TAMMY

Hi there,

Thanks for writing in, Im sorry to hear about the printing troubles. Each photo has what is called an aspect ratio. If you want to be able to print your photo at 4x6 or 8x12 you first must crop the photo to this ratio before sending it to print.

If your images are at the 5x7 ratio to start, they will have to be cropped to fit the 4x6 ratio. If you are able to crop the photos yourself, this will allow you more control over where and how your photo is cropped.

Once you have a crop you like go ahead and save the photo and it should be ready for print Smiley

I hope this helps!
