Author Topic: I would jump for joy if Picnik offered...  (Read 2329 times)

An Eye Pop Tool!  I'm not talking about Eye Bright.  Eye Bright makes me swoon.  But I'd really fall off the couch if I had a tool that would allow me to paint on an unsharp mask over eyes.

I keep going back to Photoshop Elements for this feature alone.  I LOVE Picnik and talk it up to everyone I know.  Hands down, Picnik is so much more fun to use, it's intuitive, and it gets the job done.  My photos on Facebook have been getting a lot of attention *because of* what I can do with them in Picnik.

But I, along with everyone in Mommy photoblog land, wants their kids' eyes to sparkle like diamonds the way that only an unsharp mask can make them.  Please Picnik please!  I would be 100% sold if I could do this.

So... is this on the horizon at all? Smiley

Hi there,

Thanks for the request! Can you send over a link to an image you've used the unsharp mask on? This way we can see exactly what you're looking for Smiley Or can you let us know how Eye Bright could become more similar to the tool you are looking for?

Thanks!

Sure Chelsea.  Here are two examples.  I like what Picnik does with the Eye Bright tool, but I really like how sharpening the eyes makes them pop more.  I don't want to sharpen my entire image as much as I'm sharpening the eyes, so I can't really use the standard sharpen tool... unless you come up with a way to paint it on...? Hey DaisyandPear,

Thanks for the examples! Very helpful... it looks like the Photoshop eyes have a little more of an all around sharp look to them. I will add this request to our list!

Thanks,

I second the request for a selective unsharp mark paintbrush! That would be awesome!
