If you're a Picnik Premium user, you're in for a real treat. We just released our awesome new slideshow tool, Show, in Premium Preview! Read the announcement from our Show team leader, Steve, on the Picnik Blog.

If you haven't made a Show yet, simply open the Show tab from Library: Start: Make a Show. Then you can pull your photos from the Photo Basket into your Show. Modify the styles and transitions in the left hand menu to make your Show uniquely you. When you're done, save it and share it with the world!

Use this photographic storytelling tool to post your vacation highlights on your blog, tour your family members around your new house, or email your friends a photo essay on the perfect way to prepare your famous lasagna. All your viewers have to do is sit back and relax in the comfort of their own home as we move your slides along.

Check out Steve's Show from our Data Center field trip on the View Page!

Let us know what you think here, or email Feedback@picnik.com.

Not Premium? If you would like to start making Shows and enjoy all the Picnik Premium features, upgrade today!

Hey Carol,

Glad to hear you tried out Show and thank you for the additional feedback! Maybe you can help us clarify this issue to other users.

You've noticed that there is not a save to computer option. As opposed to other features you can use at Picnik (collages, etc.) that ultimately come together and make a single transferable file (.jpg, .gif, etc.) a Show does not become a transferable file that you can, say, download or save to Flickr. Rather Picnik hosts all the images in your Show and plays them when called on from the View Page or when embedded in a website (sort of like embedding a YouTube video to another site or blog. You don't have the video file actually stored on the other site/blog, you are simply calling on YouTube to play that video).

Would it be helpful for us to explain this before you start? When you save? Let us know.

Thank you,
Ali, Team Picnik
