This is a wonderful program that produces better results than three similar ones I currently have downloaded on my computer. My only complaint is that, being a brower-based product, it is slower to load photographs than the downloaded programs... especially the larger-sized photographs.
Are there any plans for Picnik to produce a downloadable program, with the accompanying faster download speed? I would be first in line to purchase it.

Me too, I'd love to run a fully functioned and fast picnik on my computer.

Oh pleeease! I was only just wishing for exactly this today, after spending hours and hours editing my photos.... I love Picnik but it's just sooo incredibly slow I'd happily pay top dollar to be able to download the full program to my computer. There really must be potential to market this?...you'd make a fortune guys!!

This was actually one of the first things I thought when I first started using Picnik. It would be great to be able to download this great program.

+1. I just registered yesterday for the full/premium version and am loving it. I'd pay many times the annual fee for a downloadable/standalone version.

I live in a rural area in the UK and broadband speed is very variable - and sometimes VERY slow. I agree that a sensibly ( less than Lightroom?) priced downloadable version of Picnik would be a god-send. how about it guys?

I would love this too. I have used Picnik with 4 different web browsers (finally settling with Google Chrome) and Picnik maxes them out (especially if I use the Gritty effect) because of the size/quality of pictures that I use. I would be glad to pay to have a downloadable version for my computer, since when I travel the internet connection isn't always the greatest. I know that we wouldn't get all the fun little things like the Halloween effects automatically, but I do know you can send a notification to the downloaded program (as long as there is an internet connection) to let the users know there's an update. I work in testing/tech support for a software company that does this. This would definitely bring you guys more revenue. You should have an on-line membership, and then a downloadable program. Make us pay 25-50 more to download it and keep a copy on our computers. Double your revenue... you're crazy not to. As long as you issue a license key that requires authorization, there's little or no way that someone can cheat you out of the program... gotta love internet authorization!

Oh YES~ I would pay extra for that! But, if I didn't have to, then that would be great. I get a lot of problems with Picknik. Picnik too slow..shuts down. Doesn't upload the photos all the way at times..Half finished. Locks up when I use the local contrast under the edit/ exposure tab, and it crashes when I use the Lomo-ish effect too. I'ts a pain for me!
